Just A Couple of FAQs
-
A celebrant officiates all sorts of life events - anything from weddings, to naming days, funerals, vow renewals and elopements. They are authorised by the Attorney General’s office and are there to guide you through the process of creating the ceremony that’s just right for you. They also take care of the legal paperwork that is needed too.

You’ll need a passport or your original birth certificate along with a drivers’ license. If you’ve been previously married, I’ll also need to cite your divorce order.

I am part of a celebrant network (who are all super lovely) and if need be are there to jump in. Of course we’re all human and I’ll endeavour to power on through but if the time does arise where we’ll need a replacement, just know everything will be perfectly fine.
-
Yes, yes I do. It’s portable, battery operated and has bluetooth if we need to use it for any music pre, during or post ceremony.
-
Super easy! I’m great on the emails and we can set up times to chat via zoom about all the details. I’ll send you to officials that can witness your legal paperwork and then it’s just a matter of scanning your passports and emailing them to me.
-
Absolutely! Love is love people. I welcome all couples and provide a safe and inviting space so that we can create the ceremony of their dreams.

Every celebrant charges their own fee that is dependent upon a number of factors. More often than not, it comes down to their level of experience along with what each couple is actually after. Some celebrants offer standard one-size fits all packages and others specifically tailor each package to their couples. It just depends on the celebrant.

Choosing a celebrant is something extremely personal and a decision you shouldn’t take lightly. When you think about it, your celebrant is going to be the first point of call at your wedding, they are the ones that set the tone when delivering your ceremony…so choose wisely. Get to know them, look at their website, check out their socials like Instagram, get in touch with them and hop on a chat over a zoom or on the phone. Make sure that you feel supported and that they understand the vision and vibe you want for your ceremony.
And don’t be shy - most celebrants are happy to chat completely obligation free, they want to make sure they’re as much as a fit for you and your partner as you are for them. It goes both ways.
